13:29 - Pigtastic

We had a busy weekend! On Saturday I went shooting - I had a lot of competition targets to shoot - I came away with 98.7 average, so not too shabby!

On Sunday we took Alex to HORTON PARK - A petting zoo/farm for kiddies. It is a really great place and well worth a visit. It cost only £12.00 for me, Chris and Alex for the day. Lots to do, with activity centers and climbing frames around every corner! It seemed that opposite every animal enclosure was a new adventure playground - so even though the car park was full to the brim with visitors, there was no tripping over other people.

Alex couldn't turn his excitement off for a second! If he wasn't petting animals, he was sliding down death-slides (aerial sldes to be P.C) or climbing all over forts, boats and tractor climbing frames!

We stopped for his lunch - which he ate than fell asleep - so we walked around and had a cuppa until he was awake again. Once he had woken up he was back touching and petting horses and goats, llamas and pigs! He even managed to go down slides on his own. Even though he had had a lunch time nap he tired out very quickly.

At the end of the day we were all pretty tired out! Definitely a place to revisit.
